PILLARI, LLC

Pillari, LLC is a landscape design/build firm. Since the firm’s inception in 1980, Pillari has provided landscape services to a broad spectrum of clients, from residential and commercial properties to public and governmental agencies. The design/build segment handles projects from initial landscape architectural concepts through the installation phase. Landscape contracting services are also generated through the competitive bid process with new and existing clients. Our landscape construction services, commercial and residential, include a wide range of services such as landscape masonry, soil stabilization, landscape irrigation, retaining wall construction, architectural paver installations, and plantings.

As result of experience gained through the years and projects completed, we have assembled the necessary equipment and personnel that enables Pillari to secure and perform landscape projects from the finely detailed to the most difficult.

Staff Profiles

• Bruno Pillari

  President

  Mr. Pillari has been involved in the landscape industry since 1978. Bruno is responsible for overall control of the company's construction operations. He is certified in New Jersey for Pesticide Application in the fields of Turf and Ornamental Trees and Shrub. Mr. Pillari has also been certified by Keystone Retaining Wall Systems as a qualified installer of their patented segmental block system. He received his A.A.S. degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Brookdale Community College. In 1998, Bruno became a New Jersey Certified Irrigation Contractor.

• Joseph Pillari

  Landscape Architect
  Vice President

  Mr. Pillari began his career in the landscape industry in 1980, when the company was founded. He is a New Jersey certified Landscape Architect. Joseph is responsible for all landscape architectural services, and oversees the cost estimating and project budgeting for projects designed in house, as well as those obtained for competitive bidding. His years of experience have proven invaluable in a diversity of projects ranging from residential to commercial designs. Joseph is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects. He received his B.S. degree in Landscape Architecture from Cook College, Rutgers University.

• Harry Palmer

  Vice President of Operations

  Mr. Palmer's extensive knowledge of the landscape industry can be contributed to his many years of field and management experiences. Eight of those years were spent with the Monmouth County Parks System, where his responsibilities ranged from maintaining park grounds and facilities to Senior Park Ranger; experiences which afforded him great insight to the natural and planted flora of New Jersey. As VP of Operations at Pillari, Harry is instrumental in the overall daily activities of the Pillari work force.

• Scott Williams

  Estimating & Pre-Construction

  Mr. Williams joined Pillari in 2001, after operating his own design/build company from 1988 to 2001. Scott has an extensive background in all phases of landscape and building construction, with an emphasis on high end, artistic design and attention to detail. Having completed many unique and challenging projects in the past provides Scott with a diversified background, which has allowed Pillari to bid successfully on complex projects. This, in turn, allows Pillari to provide "turn-key" services to our customers. Scott currently is responsible for cost estimating, and pre-construction coordination of our projects.
