Our clients, whose home is located adjacent to the Shrewsbury River in Rumson, NJ, were seeking the creation of a larger patio space to accommodate frequent gatherings of family and friends. The paving material chosen for the patio space was Pennsylvania Full range bluestone paving stones. Its rich color and texture compliment the charm of the architectural style of the home and echoes the soothing effect of the river. Clay brick planter piers were incorporated into the patio design to both anchor the edge of the patio space and incorporate some of the materials from the residence.
